How Can Tonsillitis Be Treated?

I know I get tonsiliths quite often. For some reason, there is one spot on my right tonsil that I can press for a bit and oozes yellow puss. Not sore throat, ever. At least not major one in almost 10 years, and it wasn t even strep or mono and I did not have a fever. I have no fever. No sore throat, in years again might I add, and the amount of puss I can get out in almost, incredible. But it never hurts. What is the best way to go about this? See an ENT?
