How Can Tinnitus Along With Fatty Liver And Depression Be Treated?

I had a diagnosis of cysts on my kidneys, fatty liver and borderline diabetes? I also experience ringing in my ears, sometimes feel, off balance and depression. I also am overweight and have a lot of stress. I am a realtor and my husband is retired so financial burden falls on me.Sounds like a lot of symptoms, I know.My internist recommends seeing a Urologist. Can you pave a path to recovery for me or make some solid recommendations

Hello,

Ringing in the ear and balance problems may be due to alterations in balance signals from your ear to brain.

The causes for alteration are:
1. Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV)
2. Vestibular Neuronitis
3. Labyrinthitis
4. Meniere's disease
5. Drugs like beta blockers or antidepressants

Fatty liver and obesity may not cause tinnitus. First, consult your ENT specialist, them after his advice consult a physician for fatty liver and obesity (check blood pressure also can cause vertigo) and get treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
