How Can Swollen Tonsils And Lymph Nodes Be Treated?

My daughter has swollen tonsils, swollen lymph nodes on both sides of her neck and has a rash showing up on different parts of her body. She does not have fever, but has some drainage. No insurance, so trying not to go to doctor unless medically necessary

Hello , my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
Some advices that I can give to you are :
-Tonsillitis need to be treated with antibiotics. I suggest you augmentine 625 mg for 7 days
-Gargle with warm salt water.
-Suck on lozenges containing benzocaine or other anesthetics.
-Use a humidifier
