Hello,

Since already pus has developed, it needs to be drained and cleaned, then dressed so that no dirt goes in and wound can heal better. Swelling and pain can be controlled by drugs like Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen, being taken 2 to 3 times a day. It is also good to take a course of antibiotics like Amoxicillin and Potassium Clavulanate, to clear the infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
