How Can Swelling On The Foot Be Treated?

I recently fractured my foot and leg last weekend. When I get up in the middle of the night or the morning after sleeping for a long period of time, I put my leg down towards the ground and I get this extremely painful burning/tingling sensation that runs from my toes up to a little bit above my ankle where my leg fracture is. When I pull my leg back up towards the ceiling, the pain goes away. My foot and ankle are still pretty swollen and I am barely able to put any weight on it with a boot on it.

dear
thanks for writing to HCM
The swelling can be managed by regularly putting a pillow under your leg while sleeping.the Tingling and numbness mostly is due to nerve stimulation due to swelling.
moreover please have a review with the Ortho surgeon for a opinion. The medicines like lyser d to be continued.
hope this helps
