General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive pill and not a pill recommended for medical abortion. Mifepristone is the tablet that needs to be taken for medical abortion.
With the history of bleeding and intake of the medications, it appears that you could have landed up in incomplete abortion, which could endanger your life.
Kindly get an ultrasound scan of the abdomen done and consult Gynaecologist promptly with the report for further evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.,
