How Can Stiffness In The Neck Be Treated?

I m 71 yr old M. Have had a stiff neck and headache for 3-4 months. MRI no prob for a 70 yr old. Seeing a chiropractor who says C-3 vertibray misaligned. 10 treatments over 4 week and 2 more weeks to go with minimal improvement. Also 6 massGES OF NECK OVER THE LAST 6 WEEKS. Tried my pillow all with min help What next. Neurologist??

hello sir
the type of headache that you are suffering can give some ideas as to what you might be suffering from. for example.. do u have nausea or vomit with that headache or do u have a band like headache or does it come in go in episodes.
if I may guess based on my judgment a tension type headache can contract ur neck muscles n a constant strain can cause a stiff neck.
I would suggest a cervical x ray in both AP n Lateral views to rule out spondolysis n would suggest that consulting a neurologist or a psychiatrist would be helpful.
