How Can Sore Throat Be Treated?

We have a large ceramic piggy bank (about 20 long), that we inherited . Anyway, it badly needed a paint job. I bought a 2 oz bottle of Acrylic paint and spent 2 days painting along with painting other details with similar paints. I have been using these paints for years, indoors. However I have developed a very deep sore throat, where it irritates when I breath. (Far enough down that I don t see any redness.) Any home solutions or over the counter remedies? Thank you. P.S. When I purposely cough, that s where I feel it; (if that helps.)

Hello. Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic. It might be that you got an allergic reaction to the paint. If it is not very severe you could try hot saline gargles to relieve the pain. Also anti allergic or antihistamines could be taken. Likely will resolve soon. Try sipping on a cup of soup. Hope it helps. Thanks.
