How Can Sore Throat And Tracheitis Be Treated?

Since last Thursday I ve had a croaky voice and sore throat, I went to the docs yesterday and he told me I have tracheitis, for the past three/four days I ve hardly had a voice with only a few words coming out, I work in a call centre so have been sent home past two days and going to have to have today off too, how long will this last because I need to be going in work

If it's tracheitis then it is most probably due to infection.If a patient comes to me with such problem I would first do blood investigations to confirm infection then advise him antibiotics and medications to reduce pain and swelling so that he can feel better.
