General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It is a bacterial infection probably be streptococcal infection. Consult a general practitioner and start on antibiotics preferably Amoxclav. Do warm saline gargles for symptomatic relief.

You can also take antihistamines like Pheneramine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persists, you can consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
