How Can Social Anxiety Be Treated?

My daughter is 28 years old and lives at home. She has had anxiety issues for some time, but in last 4-5 months she stopped being social. She wont come into a room when we are there and expects us to leave so she can be in kitchen or go down hall to use bathroom. It is getting worse and very difficult to live with.
