How Can Slow Growth And Development With Hypoglycemia Be Treated?

Hi,My daughter is 1 year and 1 month old but still cannot sit up, roll over, crawl and even hold things with her hand. Her head is smaller compare to other babies. but she responds to things like smiles when we call her name, try to sound a-b-b-a. 10hrs after her birth she started convulsing, we rushed her to the hospital but we waited for 4hrs to see the doctor. Doctor told us that she suffering from hypoglycemia and he gave her glucose. she was okay since then the convulsion stopped. she often jitters while asleep. we are planning to go to physiotherapist. kindly advise us. Regards, Mr & Mrs Hamisu Yuguda from Nigeria

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for asking.
I can understand your concerns.
In my opinion your child seems to be having neurological sequel to hypoglycemia. You should get her developmental level checked and then start therapy for her accordingly.
I hope I have helped you
Thank you
