Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Yes, I see that you are worried but effect may take some time especiall yif there was severe infecttion with herpes virus. Also if Acyclovir is used it may take 1-2 weeks till results are seen since adeqate drug concentration in blood should be reached before it kills viruses in your body. So just be patients and results will come. However, if it doesnt happen as I said, then there may be some other infection except herpes or superinfection with some bacterias.
