How Can Severe Sun Burn On The Stomach Be Treated?
i got a second degree burn to my stomach 3 1/2 days ago, about 3cm by 1cm and the blister burst. It now looks orange and is painful to touch. then it has a white ring and then a red ring. should i get it checked out or recover the wound and wait it out
First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared.
Hopefully, it will recover spontaneously and such colour differences are usual recovery indications.
However, during recovery topical antibiotics use needs to be ensured to avoid contamination by bacteria. Oral antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs may also be needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
