General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

For pain relief, try Aceclofenac tablets 12 hourly. Use hot compresses around the shoulder joint. Avoid lifting of weight with the right hand.

Consult an orthopedic doctor and get yourself examined by him for a range of movements. Get an x-ray of the shoulder done. Do an MRI of the shoulder also if asked by the orthopedic.

Usually, sport injuries of the shoulder include dislocation, bursitis, sprain or tendon ruptures. MRI and movement restrictions will usually rule out the above conditions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
