How Can Severe Pain In The Ankles Be Treated?

Hello- I was diagnosed with Planters Fascitis a year ago; in addition to: Peroneal tendonitis. The fasciitis has gotten somewhat better; however the interior area of my ankle is extremely painful. Making it difficult to walk without a limp- what should I do?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Initially treatment consists of specific exercises, special shoes and pain medication but if these have been tried with no effect then you may need to consider seeing a specialist (orthopedic or rheumatologist).

You may need an injection or surgical treatment of the affected area.

I hope this helps
