General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pain that goes from shoulders to fingers very likely is due to the nerve compression on the way down the arm. The compression of the nerve can happen from the level it goes out the spine or lower down due to muscle spasms or other conditions.

It is good for you to see a doctor and have a proper examination to determine the cause. Most of the patients are better with Ibuprofen 600 mg 3 times a day after food and physiotherapy that relaxes the muscles and helps relieve the nerve.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
