How Can Severe Hot Flashes Be Treated?

I have severe Hot Flashes. I have taken permarin since 1974 now my new doctor won't prescribe me Premarin. She prescribed antixiety, and panic attack , meds which none have helped at all. I'm 90 yrs old and need something, would like to get my premarin back or something that would work.

Hello,

Thanks for your query on HCM

"As"per your clinical history is concerned your problem is not due to anxiety and panic disorder so no need of anti psychotics at present.so you are right and your problem is hormonal in origin but do one test [TSH]and if it is in normal level then you can take [permarin]in low dose. So meet a gynaecologist after test report, and he will prescribe it for you.

Hope that helps
