i am really considering a pain pump. its been 2 years since corrective spinal surgery and im still in a lot of pain I also have fibromyalgia and feel like I was Hit by a Mack Truck Daily. pain meds no longer give me any relife. what is your opinion on a Pain Pump / Blocker ?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Yes, pain pump is good option for chronic pain not subsided by surgery and oral painkillers. This kind of pump releases medicines at regular interval. So you can achieve better pain relief. So you should definitely talk about this option with your doctor.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
