How Can Severe Depression Be Treated?

sir one of my friend is suffering from depression as he lost his job and due to his personal lyf problms . he is living with his aunt as her mother died when he was too young his step mom does not accept him. now due to all these negtavities he is suffering from depression he wants to end his life. how could i help him .?? his sitution is very critical . please help as soon as possible.
