How Can Severe Depression And PTSD Be Treated?

I have PTSD since 1989. Severe depresion. Meds changed many times. Started on Trintillex last Sept. Stopped working and I am a complete mess See Physcologist and Psyc. Is there a dr. who specializes in treating PTSD with severe depression in the state of Al. or elsewhere. Thank you. Carol Campbell I need better help please.

You are having severe depression problem...

You have not mentioned for how long you have taken drug

In depression SSRI group drug prescribed mist commonly and given for 6 to 8 month...

If needed duration may be prolonged

Behavioural counselling also will be beneficial

And if no medicine is effective than ECT shake can be given in three to four sitting for that

Yoga, meditation will be beneficial

Hope your concern solved

You have to consult good psychiatrist nearby and follow his prescription regularly so that if needed drug dose can be modified
