How Can Scleroderma Be Treated?

Hi I have had scleroderma since 2014 . My current treatment is cytoxan. My question is my period started 4-29-17 spotty and light. And continued than 5-12-17 it got a little heavier but still hasn t stopped. My doctor said this is unusual for my treatment. What could be causing this to happen

Hi,

Yes, this is probably not related to your primary disease however abnormalities in cycle is quite common in female. Most of the time not a serious issue. This may be related to changes in hormone which occur with stress or many medicine, etc.

Until it's very heavy flow or its very prolonged or if you other symptoms like fainting or dizziness, you may wait otherwise see your doctor if any thing seems alarming.
