Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy may be autosomal dominant inheritance. Theses people may chances to develop repeated episodes of angina pain, arrhythmia or exertional dysnea and sudden cardiac death. You have to get him echo cardiogram, ECG, cardiac enzymes etc. Theses people may need cardia muscle ablation or intracardiac defibrillator for cardioversion is useful. Anti arrhythmia drugs may useful. please consult the cardiologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
