How Can Respiratory Tract Infection And Stomach Pain Be Treated?

Hello Doctor, my son had severe chest cold(wet cough) last 5 days and he has throat infection today. I have given him Azithromycin 250 for the throat infection and planning to give twice for three days. Would that be sufficient for his chest cold and the throat infection. Pls suggest. He mentioned that his throat pain has come down a bit now. Also he had little stomach pain at noon. I gave him Junior Lanzol 30 and his pain has come down. What is the reason for his stomach pain. Is it a side effect of the antibiotic. Need your guidance. Thanks Manju

May be the stomach ache from the antibiotic..but you have to continue the antibiotic..so we may give antacid and antispasmodic for the stomach till the antibiotic is over
