How Can Renal Pelvis Dilatation In An Infant Be Treated?

Hi my baby is 34 weeks now. my due date is 27 October, baby has been diagnosed renal pelvis dialation in left kidney of 2.0 * 2.9 cm. Which was 9.9 mm at 28 th week and has increased now. Kindly let me know if this is treatable . Radiologist has mentioned Extra renal pelvis or an obstruction . Pls assist urgently

Your doctor is right. Renal pelvic dilatation can be from obstructive uropathy or some other congenital cause. Kindly attach your USG report to comment further. According to the cause specific management plan decided. I suggest you to consult Urologist for examination and accordigly further management.
