How Can Red Itchy Rashes On The Upper Legs Be Treated?

I was in FL working near the pool (with chlorine) and painting indoors, the next day I had several itchy red bites on my upper legs, just above my knees. By late in the day, the bites had started down my legs, and now there are several dozen at my lower leg nearer my ankles. These are mostly red bumps (some are just bumps), and itchy, often have little prickly pain associated, and often a clear liquid is evident when scratched. It has now been 3 weeks, it is still very itchy and prickly pain. No one else seems to have these bites . I have always had other bites swell a bit more than normal (mosquito bites), but never lasted this long or so many bites (at least many dozen bites). What can I do? The anti-itch creams only give very brief relief.

Hi,

It may be contact allergic dermatitis.
Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

Avoid the contact with suspected allergens like soap, grass, dust, house dust mite, wood, cloths, detergents, perfume, etc.
And avoid the bites of insects also.
You may take antihistamines like Cetirizine daily till itch is relieved. Apply mild steroid cream on the affected areas.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
