General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Bladder infection caused by E.coli is sometimes difficult to treat. One treatment only does not help much.

You might repeat the course of antibiotics based on culture and sensitivity testing.

So, I advise to get the urine analysis and urine culture done again as sometimes there is chance to get antibiotic resistance.

Meanwhile, I advise to:
- increase consumption of plain water
- take urine antiseptics (e.g. those containing cranberry or fern stone)
- go to toilet when you have the urge, do not delay
- keep proper hygienic measures when sexual intercourse.

Hope this helps.
