Hi my daughter has test positive for ASO titre. She has had recurrent throat infection for long and been under antibiotics but it seems they are not effective. She is 5 years old. the doctors have recommended the tonsils be removed. How can i help my daughter so that the tonsils are not removed
Hi Thanks for posting on hcm I would suggest my patient ti get the tonsils removed as there is recurrences of sore throat even after usage of antibiotics in few cases recurrent tonsillitis can be cured only by removing them and this could also lead to some other complications affecting kidney function and geart valves. To avoid complications follow doctor's advice. Hope this helped you. Regards
