How Can Recurrent UTI Be Treated?

Hi I have a recurring Uti. I was given antibiotics several times. The last time a test was done and I was told that I have a e.coli infection. I got two weeks of nitrofurantoin (uvamin retard). THe symptoms cleared up while I was taking it. A week later, it was back - itching, burning. I also got gastritis my pelvic and back hurt. I was sent to do another test. Any advice ?

Hi, I think you should do a urine routine and microscopy and a culture and a ultrasound for your kidneys, ureter and bladder.
