How Can Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Unwanted 72 Be Treated?

I took unwanted72on second day of my period. My period is not stoping even after 8days. What should i do now? What are the complications? When will the bleeding stop? Can the only reason of this be the medicine? My mother is having cyst so is it that i may have cyst

Thanks for asking.
Unwanted 72 is an emergency contraceptive &is taken after an unprotected sex ti avoid pregnancy. Pregnancy is possible only between day 7th to 18th of a period (when ovulationis possible.)
There is no posdibility of ovulation on second day of menses... so there was no need of taking unwanted 72 on thatday.
The hormones in the pills had disturbed your normal menstruatuion till 8th day & after 8 days of taking unwanted 72 pill... withdrawalbleeding of the pill has started.Now this bleeding will stop for a while to be followed by your next menses (delayed by 8 -10 days than normal date.)
To understand about need &effect of emergency pill before you take it is important./always consult your doctorbefore taking.
