How Can Pregnancy Be Confirmed?

I m trying to get pregnant with my second child and I have a question. I use the clearblue digital ovulation test and it was negative the first time I took it but over the next 14 days and 7 test, every single one was positive for fertility. I want to know how is this possible and could I just be pregnant. I took a really cheap pregnancy test and it was negative.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
The Clearblue digital ovulation test detects the rise of the ovulation hormone LH (Luteinizing hormone) 24-36 hours prior to ovulation.
Beta-HCG which is the hormone of pregnancy can mimic the LH and as a result your ovulation test will turn positive.
So the answer is yes, you can be pregnant and for that reason, you should take the laboratory test of B-HCG which has two types:
- The blood test: give us more accurate and early results, positive within 7 to 12 days of conception
- The urine test: positive within two weeks of conception .

Hope I answered your question
