hello my name is lisa evans do you give prescription on line I was born with pku if you know anything about pku it is a very rare I am on my diet I am need to get a script for kuvan so I can bring my phe levels down so I can eat more my doctor at Albany wont give me one because I will not prick my finger as much as she wants me to. my prescription would go to bio martin pharmist

As you know, PKU is a lifelong condition. If your blood phenylalanine is too high, it can cause a decline in memory and intelligence. It is absolutely necessary for you to follow your doctor's advice.
A finger stick is a very minor procedure. As a paediatrician, I have seen this done on newborn babies without risk to them. I am sorry but one of the rules of our telemedicine is that physicians do not prescribe medications.
