How Can Peripheral Neuropathy Be Treated?

Hi I am almost 71 years old and have recently developed neuropathy of the feet-non-diabetic. I take 3 gabapentic, 3 aleve and 2 tylenol extra strength. Used to work, no longer do. Am rather desparate as pain-tightness, numbness, and pulling bad no terrible at night, much better during the day. What to do , what to take? Rather desparate!
