How Can Periods Be Delayed?

Hi i wanted to delay my period which usually comes every 28 days. After taking primolut for 2 weeks i stopped it and got my period after 3 days. Im getting slight period pain and a few spots of blood and im afraid if my period comes again on the date it was due before i took primolut. Can this happen? As my periods are not due yet until another 2 weeks.

Hi,

You have taken Hormonal pill to delay menstruation. The Hormonal pill can alter Hormonal balance and slight spotting of blood could be due to its effect.

So you may need not to worry about that. If the pain is a more and heavy period like bleeding occurs than you have to consult a gynaecologist for detailed evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
