How Can Painful Tendinitis On The Left Foot Be Treated?
I have tendinitis on left foot. Relieved for one month after cordisone shot. Pain returned. Three weeks ago l had surgery on two toes on right foot. Still in much pain, especially after walking for short time.ln walking plastic brace on right foot which really hurts and left foot uneven ,with shoe elevator since the smallest size is too big. Supposed to return to work, which requires lots of walking and pushing wheelchairs. Advise??!!
As you have taken and a steroid shot and also had a surgical procedure performed over you, I will advise you to go slow. as for the steroid to work, it might take some time and the tendonitis will heal. Usually, for lower limbs, it might take around 4-6 weeks of time. Post which you will be advised to undergo some physical therapy sessions for the strengthening of the muscle groups of the lower limbs as a whole so the weight is transferred uniformly at both the limbs.
In my clinical practice of over 12 years, most cases recover post the healing takes place and later the physical therapy to regain strength.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Jay Indravadan Patel, Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist
