How Can Painful Red Welts On The Scrotum Be Treated?

My name is Joseph Miller, am 31 years old and i work in a power company my job involves long periods of walking in the hot sun checking on defaulting customers. I first noticed sore itches on my inner thighs and then after treating with lion fat it healed but i later started having a sore feeling on my scrotum which later deteriorated into red and tender welts on my scrotum. I feel excruciating pain when i try to walk and it rubs against my inner thighs please i need a cure for this. I barely go to work.

Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of 31 years old male working in a power company. Your job involves long periods of walking in the hot sun checking on defaulting customers. First noticed sore itches on inner thighs and then after treating with lion fat it healed but later started having a sore feeling on scrotum which later deteriorated into red and tender welts on scrotum. You feel excruciating pain when you try to walk and it rubs against inner thighs please you need a cure for this as you barely go to work due to this problem.
I would advise you the following:
- Since you have noticed that this problem occurs only on exposure t hot and humid atmosphere, you have to stop or change the work where you are not exposed to such problems.
Clean the area with cold tap water 4 times a day.
Use loose clothes, Keep the area ventilated or opt for the work which is in air conditioners.
You can apply liquid povidone iodine to keep the diseased skin sterile to avoid the secondary infection which is very common in this area.
Further medications as per the advise of your Dermatologist.
