How Can Painful Pilonidal Cyst Be Removed?

I have a HUGE pilonidal cyst that s extremely painful . Been swelling more and more over last three days . I can no longer sit or drive . I ve had heat on it three times a day . Will ICE help with pain at this time ? It s VERY swollen and chopping skin on buttocks

Good day and thank you for posting this question. Sorry about the pain. Your pilonidal cyst need to be drained by a surgeon, not only drained but also excised so that it doesn't reoccur. Kindly book an appointment with a surgeon. Putting ice on it will provide temporary relief of pain. I will advice you use Acetaminophen for the pain then you see your Surgeon for the cyst to be removed.
