General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
Some advices that I can give to you are :
-Ice packs can be placed on the sore joint for up to 15 minutes at a time during the first few days after the injury.
-You may get a figure-eight strap wraps around both shoulders to support the SC joint. The strap protects the joint from another injury and lets the injured ligaments heal and become strong again.
-Anyway the visit of an orthopaed is necessary to confirm the diagnose.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
