General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am really sorry to hear of your long standing pain. I understand your problem. In fact the pain may be either of the fracture, or nerve if the fracture has pressed on it.

The pain of the nerve may be sharp and burning and medium to the other areas. It may also produce weakness. So it probably is not from the nerve rather the fractured bone. Still, after 5 weeks the pains should have been better.

Hope I have answered your query.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
