I'm 44 female. 171 pounds, in October I was 208. I've just been eating less portions. And less appetite. I have a hx of kidney stones, litho tripsy, TAH w/ BSO for endometriosis (I'm a nurse) frequent uti's, hx IV drug use. Opiates and some amphetamines. Abstinence from all mood altering drugs now although this pain makes me think about turning the other way!! About 45 days or so ago my NP put me on prophylactic ATB for uti's. CIPRO 250 MG 1 tab after sex. Seems like I get uti's mostly after sex. Regardless of voiding afterwards and being very sanitary, pulling out, everything. We are, however, pretty active. 4 - 5 times a week. I ended up with an infection and went on CIPRO 500 MG for 7 days. Culture grew lactobacillus. Yeah, righ?? WtF!?? Ampicillin 250mg QID for 10days. Maybe got better for a minute, idk. Have been taking uristat this whole time. I describe my pain as shooting, spasms type pains on the right side of very low and, intermittent. I had 2 days of amp left and the pain was crazy again. They said to come leave ua. So I did....+nitrites, + leukemia,- blood, culturenegative at 24hr. Vaginal culture no BV, yeast, or trichamonis. Theyou start me on Levaquin. 250 for 10days. I'm hurting so bad. I see urologist Monday. Due to my opiate use nobody will give me pain meds, I get it. But I'm really hurting here. It's terrible and radiates across the whole abdomen now. I feel like I want to push. My ua today showed +nitrites, + leukocytes, no blood. They called in macrobid I'm not going to make it!! Any suggestions? .
