How Can Pain In The Wrist Be Treated?

My sister just had surgery today for a badly broken wrist. She was sent home with Percocet. Can she also take ibuprofen? She thinks she s supposed to take ibuprofen to keep the swelling down, but nowhere in her release documents does it say it s ok to take ibuprofen. Thank you.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, she can definitely take ibuprofen.
Ibuprofen is having dual action, painkiller aside wells as anti inflammatory.
So it will reduce pain and pain swelling both.
So she can definitely take ibuprofen with percocet with out fear.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your sister. Thanks.
