Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

Feeling pain in the vagina indicates that you have a bacterial, fungal, viral or some other type of infection that needs investigation. There are multiple organisms causing this infection. If you have no discharge from the vagina but feel pain, you will need simple tests for investigation. This infection may be acquired through sexual contact with an infected person. So if you have sex with some person, you should ask him about having an STI. That would be helpful. Fungal infections are usually accompanied by whitish, thick and cheesy discharge. If it is not present, that is symptom of HSV2 herpes infection. It affects genital organs and causes burning and blisters of the vagina. I would advice you to see your doctor and get examined as you cannot diagnose that yourself. He may administer blood tests and vaginal swab if there is any need for it. You should not have sex until treatment done and you have completely recovered. Otherwise, it would cause harm and severe pain.

Wish you a healthy life.

Take care
