How Can Pain In The Ribcage After An Injury Be Treated?

I recently hurt my side. Closet to mid back lower rib cage area. It hurts lightly to breath, movement hurts enough to pause breathing to groan. Days passed and I started feeling a bit better. While walking my 15 pound puppy I picked him up and felt a sharp pull or tight sharp feeling and now its more sensitive then before. I can t lay on my side really at all

You need to do an X-ray of your Chest to exclude broken rib. In most cases it's the result of muscle strain which need bed rest, cold compressors, topical analgesics and over the counter analgesics.
