How Can Pain In The Calf Muscles Be Treated?

I just turned 60, I am physically active, I m not overweight. I danced the pogo (jump up and down) the entire 3 hours of Paul McCartney concert. The next day I had very sore calves and sore knees. I could not put weight on the left leg for a full day. 11 days later my calf muscles are fine but just below my kneecap to the left, I have excruciating pain. The left is worse and the right knee the pain is just to the right of the kneecap.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Jumping up and down for 3 hours continuously had strained your calf muscles and ligaments of the knee joints. Rest to both the legs and minimal ambulation till complete healing is important. The muscles heal faster. However, depending on the degree of knee ligament injury it may take 3 to 6 weeks for complete healing of the ligament strain.
