How Can Pain In The Buttocks Be Treated?

I fell on memorial day and landed on my right butt cheek bone. I still have quite a bit of pain when sitting on it, standing up and walking and especially going up stairs. Is it possible that there is a bone there that could be damaged. It is not my tail bone.
