How Can Pain In The Big Toe Be Treated?

I think I have gout, but not sure. The pain is not in my big toe, like I ve read about. It goes from the joints in my hands, down to bones in my feet. I can t put any weight on it & it is swollen & very red. I don t have health insurance so I m hoping for advice? I ve read about multiple things with similar symptoms.. no pictures I ve seen completely match my situation

Ho
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to gout. Get a blood test for uric acid level in blood to rule out this. Taking Ibuprofen 400 mg thrice daily will be helpful. If not improving then consult your physician as you may need drugs like colchicine.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
