How Can Pain And Swelling On The Middle Toe Be Treated?

I think I may have a bone fracture (slight) in my right foot. Pain and swelling on outside middle foot just behind that area that protrudes. Ice helps. I assume rest is good. I can walk but with limp due to pain when you put pressure on it. Any recommendations?

Thank you for asking HCM.
It can be due to infection or gout. If you send a picture then it will be more helpful. In case of infection Antibiotic therapy will be helpful. If it is gout then ibuprofen will be helpful. Check your uric acid levels also.
