How Can Pain And Stiffness In The Knees Be Treated?

I was told i have little cartridge in my knee. Can t afford knee replacement but heard there s supplements you can take that will help with inflammation, stiffness and some pain relief and even help with rebuilding cartridge. Only problem is I m a little allergic to shell fish which is one of the ingredients. I can t eat shell fish but read where it s made from the outer shell of them. My question is, is there something I can take that will be just as good?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Suggest you to take followingfood supplements :

Chondroitin sulphate and glucosamine combines tablets every day for 3 months .
This can be repeated once every 6 months which will help reduce your knee pain.

However a more practical suctioning be to reduce weight and const physiotherapist to strengthen muscles around knee joints.

Hope this helps
