How Can Ovarian Cysts Be Treated?

i have had ovarian cysts for 1 yr now i am 28 yrs old i do not have any children of my own but i am a step mother of 2 . i do not plan on having any children in the future .I have tried different types of birth control and even been in pain management for it and they keep coming back... So my question is if it is my choice to have surgery for this problem why do i have to wait till i am 40 yrs old to have it done? i was told its because i don t have children of my own .....?.... i don t understand

Hi I think you should repeat a scan to see the size and nature of the cysts. If cyst is complex in nature , it can be operated now itself. If cyst is simple and smaller than 5 cm, it may resolve on its own. So, management will depend on the scan and the problem.Hope it helps.
