How Can Ovarian Cancer Be Diagnosed?

My sister had clear cell carcinoma and ovarian cancer. Have you heard of any corrolation with having both kinds of cancer. She also had Bdump which was a cancer in her eye...had plasmopharesis to get rid of that. Lived 9 months post diagnosis. Any special tests the daughter, sisters and neices should have?

It is rare but it is seen.
Whenever this kind of mixed cancers are present, prognosis is usually poor.
Yes, her family members especially females should be screened regularly for ovarian cancers.
Get done annual ultrasound examination of ovary and tumour markers (blood Test--CA125, CEA etc).
